York Region CAS is pleased to share the outcomes and successes of this year’s Annual General Meeting along with the publication of our 2023/2024 Annual Report! This year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place on June 18, 2024, at the Leslie Street Office in Newmarket
Attendees participated in an interactive Open House Tour of the newly renovated child-friendly space before the formal AGM. The tour included travelling through six unique rooms which represented key steps of our Agency’s transformative journey in our Healing Path.
The AGM followed the Open House and featured remarks from Solomon Owoo, (Interim CEO, OACAS), Kathy Anderson, Program Supervisor, MCCSS, Justin Rangooni, Board Chair, and York Region CAS CEO. The 2023/24 Annual Report, (French Version) with the theme “Listen, Plan, Act” was also launched during the meeting.
The Annual Business Meeting was held after the AGM where the following members were elected to the York Region CAS Board of Directors:

Hosting the Open House and AGM at our Leslie Office for the first time was a milestone on a continual journey to develop collaborative community relationships.
