Student Placement Program
Our Student Placement Program
At York Region Children’s Aid Society (YRCAS), we partner with accredited educational institutions to provide student placements, co-ops, and internships. We are always thrilled to welcome current and graduating students into our Agency to engage in purpose-driven developmental opportunities that provide individuals with the chance to learn more about the Child Welfare Sector, and contribute meaningfully to the health, wellbeing and success of children, youth, families, and our broader community.
We provide opportunities across the Agency (as available) including:
- Intake and Assessment
- Family Services
- Family Intervention
- Children’s Services
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
- Corporate Services
- Communications
- People and Culture
- And much more!
Please note that we do not typically offer short-term student opportunities (e.g. under 4 months), or co-op opportunities for high school students.
