On Monday, June 3, members of the YRCAS Pride at Work Council, Senior Team, OPSEU-SEFPO Local Executive, and staff team raised the Pride flag to renew our commitment to supporting all children, youth, caregivers, and families, including those who are part of the 2SLGBTQ+ community in recognition of Pride Month. We also recognize that the 2SLGBTQ+ community is diverse and has members from all walks of life.
Pride Month serves as a reminder of the importance of standing together against discrimination and prejudice. This month and throughout the year, YRCAS stands alongside those that provide life-saving, affirming care to the 2SLGBTQ+ children and youth in York Region.
This Pride Month, let us learn, celebrate with, and show love to each other. 🏳️🌈
