York Region CAS is proud to celebrate Beulah Osei, a dedicated volunteer driver, who is one of the recipients of the 2025 June Callwood Outstanding Achievement Award for Volunteerism (JCOAAV) in Ontario. Beulah was named among the 13 individual volunteers from across the province for her exceptional commitment to community service.
The June Callwood Award, presented by the Government of Ontario, recognizes individuals, groups, and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to volunteering and community life in Ontario.
Beulah began volunteering with York Region CAS since 1996, providing safe, compassionate transportation for children and youth across the region. More than a driver, she offers stability and care, helping young people stay connected to family, school, and community. Her dedication has touched countless lives and exemplifies the power of consistent, heartfelt service.
This recognition shines a light on the different ways individuals can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and youth, and we invite others to get involved.
