On February 22, 2025, York Region CAS staff accompanied by their families and friends bundled up to take part in the annual Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk in support of local charity, Inn From the Cold.
A family-friendly walk in support of local charities, the fundraiser aims to bring attention and support to people who may be experiencing hurt, hunger, and housing insecurity. By walking in the cold, participants had a chance to experience some of the challenges faced by those unhoused during the winter.
