On June 18, 2026, York Region CAS welcomed board members, Ministry representatives, OACAS, community partners, staff, resource parents, volunteers, and guests to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) at our Newmarket office.
Hosted by a talented youth from our Youth Advisory Council, this year’s AGM celebrated the accomplishments of the past year under the theme, Brighter Days: A Celebration of Colour, Creativity, and Hope through the Eyes of Youth.
Key AGM highlights included:
- Presentation of the 2025/26 York Region CAS Annual Report
- Treasurer’s Report and acceptance of audited financial statements.
- Election of Directors.
Following the meeting, guests were invited to explore our newly unveiled Youth Art Gallery, which features artwork created by children and youth and will continue to expand as new pieces are added, ensuring their voices and creativity remain visible throughout our spaces.
A heartfelt thank you to all the talented artists who helped bring Brighter Days to life, and to everyone who joined us for this special event.
