National Volunteer Week (April 19–25) is a time to recognize the incredible people who give their time, energy, and compassion to make a difference and we couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing volunteers at York Region Children’s Aid Society.
This year’s theme, “Ignite Volunteerism,” focuses on revitalizing community engagement, addressing the decline in volunteer participation, and celebrating the impact volunteers make.
Every day, our volunteers show up with kindness, dedication, and a genuine desire to support children, youth, and families in our community. Whether they’re mentoring, supporting programs, or lending a helping hand behind the scenes, their impact is felt in countless ways.
To our volunteers: THANK YOU for being a source of strength, hope, and positivity. You inspire us, and we are so lucky to have you as part of our community.
