May is Mental Health Awareness Month and May 5 to 11, 2025 is Mental Health Health Week – A time to reflect, learn, and take meaningful steps toward creating a supportive society for individuals living with mental health challenges.
This year’s national theme, “Unmasking Mental Health”, highlights the emotional weight people carry when they hide their mental health challenges due to fear of stigma or judgement. Living with a mental illness is difficult enough, and wearing a mask to cover it up only adds to the burden. By embracing vulnerability, we encourage deeper understanding and stronger support.
