Today, York Region CAS celebrates the International Day of Charity đź’šđź’›
Established by the UN to honour Mother Teresa, this day reminds us of the power of giving and the impact we can make together.
On this day, we’d like to bring special attention to the York Region Children’s Fund which supports children, youth, and families involved with our Agency by providing essential enrichment, education, and compassionate aid.
Thanks to our community, programs like the Children’s Special Projects Fund have supported children and youth this past year with things like music lessons, school supplies, and recreation—needs not covered by government funding.
