From May to June 2026, York Region CAS’s Family Intervention Team (FIT) proudly delivered the Circle of Security Parenting™ (COSP) program during an eight-week series at our Newmarket office.

Designed for parents and caregivers of children aged six and under, this evidence-based program provided a safe and supportive environment where participants could deepen their understanding of their child’s behaviour, build confidence in their responses, strengthen parent-child relationships, and reflect on their parenting approach.

Our final Circle of Security session wrapped up on a positive note! We extend our sincere thanks to all the parents and caregivers who joined us and contributed to this valuable learning experience. Together, participants explored ways to better understand children’s emotional needs, strengthen relationships, and build secure, lasting connections. Many left the program feeling more confident, informed, and supported in their parenting and caregiving roles.

York Region CAS remains committed to helping families foster nurturing, responsive relationships that promote lifelong emotional security and healthy development.

A heartfelt thank-you to our dedicated facilitators and all participants for their commitment, engagement, and growth throughout the program. Congratulations on completing the Circle of Security Parenting™ program!

We’re excited to offer Circle of Security again this fall.
