This year, Giving Tuesday will be taking place on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, and we invite you to consider donating to the York Region Children’s Fund in support of the children, youth, and families in our community.
Your donation can:
- Help cover the cost of a student’s tuition or skilled trade apprenticeship fees, books, transportation, technology, and childcare to help them to succeed in school.
- Help cover the cost of activities that help children and youth maintain their cultural identity and stay connected to their communities.
- Help a family prepare for a newborn or infant with a crib and safety equipment.
- Help families struggling with the rising costs of basic needs such as food, clothing, transportation and housing.
