The York Region Children’s Fund is incredibly grateful to The Salvation Army, Central United Church Unionville, and The Vessel Hub for their generous donations of backpacks and school supplies in support of our back-to-school initiative.
As children and youth prepare to return to the classroom, having the right supplies can make a meaningful difference in helping them feel confident, prepared, and ready to learn. For families experiencing financial challenges, the cost of back-to-school essentials can add additional pressure during an already busy time of year.
Thanks to the generosity and compassion of these community partners, children and youth supported by York Region Children’s Aid Society can start the school year with essential supplies and a greater sense of readiness for the year ahead.
These contributions are about more than backpacks and school supplies. They represent the power of community, the importance of coming together, and a shared commitment to helping children and youth feel supported as they learn, grow, and reach their potential.
On behalf of the York Region Children’s Fund, we extend our heartfelt thanks to The Salvation Army, Central United Church Unionville, and The Vessel Hub for their kindness and continued commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of children, youth, and families in our community.
Together, we are helping make the back-to-school season brighter, one backpack at a time.
