Kinship Service Appreciation Week is celebrated during the
last week of September to acknowledge and thank these compassionate and dedicated caregivers and
to raise awareness about kinship and family finding.

Children's Aid Societies across Ontario raise awareness about the important role individuals and
communities play in supporting vulnerable children, youth, and families through the Ontario Dress
Purple Day campaign. On Dress Purple Day, Ontarians are called to wear purple to show children, youth,
